Q: What is a Shelter Affiliate?
A: A Shelter Affiliate is a non-profit animal shelter or rescue organization that signs up and is approved to take part in the Animal Shelter Store program.
Q: How much does it cost to become a Shelter Affiliate?
A: Becoming a Shelter Affiliate is free and fast. Click here to Sign Up.
Q: Do we need any technical knowledge to Sign Up to become a Shelter Affiliate?
A: You do not need any technical knowledge. However if your web developer wants to add banners to your website to make your store more visible he/she can.
Q: After our shelters signs up, how long does it take for our Shelter Affiliate account to be live?
A: Most accounts will be activated within 24 hours. You will receive an email notification of your approval. Within 48 hours you will be ready to start taking orders.
Q: What should our shelter do immediately after being approved as a Shelter Affiliate?
A: Go to www.petcommercedirect.com and login. This is your Shelter Affiliate Room where you will find professional Graphics, Marketing Materials, and other tools to help your store succeed.
Q: Can we speak with someone before we sign up?
A: Yes. Please feel free to call our toll free 1-888-723-8777 to speak with our Shelter Relations person Bobbi Jo Forte. She will assist you with any questions you have and create your Shelter Affiliate account.
Q: Why should our rescue or shelter sign up for the Newsletter?
A: The Shelter Affiliate Newsletter is an insightful monthly Newsletter featuring valuable information about your
Animal Shelter Store. The Newsletter sections include: Marketing Tips, Product Spotlight, Training advice from
Cesar Millan and a special section about Dog and Cat Health where you can learn about specific natural remedies
to treat common health problems. Periodically it will feature a Bonus Section with exclusive money saving offers for
your organization.
Q: How will we get paid from our Animal Shelter Store earnings?
A: You will be paid monthly by check mailed to the address you provide us. Direct deposit is also available upon request.
Q: How will Pet Commerce Direct help us promote our Animal Shelter Store?
A: We will provide you with downloadable/printable fliers and email templates which can be sent to Supporters via email, mail, your newsletter or distributed at events.
Q: How do we track traffic and sales to our Animal Shelter Store?
A: Go to www.petcommercedirect.com and log in. In your Shelter Affiliate Room you will see a section for "Statistics". This is where you will find information pertaining to your traffic and sales.

A: Yes, we will continue to add Partners whose products meet our standards of excellence and can improve the quality of life for companion animals.

A: Pet Commerce Direct will be adding many more products, including accessories, beds, toys, bowls boutique items, seasonal items, and more food, supplement, treats and bones.
